Here is his brief television interview conducted yesterday morning on Arizona 8 Television. I am looking forward to hearing my good friend speak about a subject that we should all be mindful of and never forget! http://www.azfamily.com/good-

Have a wonderful time with your dear friend Michael!
definitely something we should be mindful of and never forget, lest it happens again.
Evening, Patti! The event was "standing room only"! Bernard is not to be missed. A wonderful guy!!!!
Seraphine: Yes, and with Anti-Semitism on the rise, it is a possibility unless those of us who are young speak up!
Hi Michael,
thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day.
Enid
Enid! Nice to hear from you in Belize!!:D)
Dear Michael,
This post is close to my heart, as part of the branch of my family tree that was not wiped out by that monster Hitler. I've not had the honor of meeting nor hearing your friend, but each and every other Holocaust survivor, whether private or public speaker, has brought history open front and center to me. Educating everyone about a horrific time we must always remember and never forget is key to prevention of this ever happening again.
I'm not surprised at all that there was standing room only.
(BTW, soon I'll have my artist blog back up, so don't worry about blogroll changes. I intend to have 2 blogs and have them back to VERY active status, after a year of "stuff." I'm going to read more on your posts I've missed. :)
gel: You are so kind! I am very proud of my Bulgarian heritage, because our King Boris was summoned to a meeting by Hitler to explain why the deportation trains came and went out of Sofia empty time and again. Boris refused to deport our Jewish brothers and sisters and the two men had a stormy argument. Not even 72 hours after Boris returned to Sofia (Bulgaria's capital) from this terrible meeting, he died "under mysterious circumstances". We knew better. We believe he was poisoned.
That said, some years ago, The Israeli Knessett bestowed an award to us for shielding our dear friends. This later formed the basis of the book by Michael Bar Zohar, "Escaping Hitler's Grasp: The Heroic Rescue of Bulgaria's Jews". Can the Holocaust happen again. Yes. But I will remain outspoken for my part. And I can assure you, Bernard is a forward-thinking man who has a new presentation in the works. His book, "Death of The Innocent" is his story. lol to you, gel. I look forward to your new site! :)
