There comes a point in your life when you realize:
Who matters,
Who never did,
Who won't anymore...
And who always will.
So, don't worry about people from your past;
there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
Do something kind today for those who did!

Good message Michael and something everyone should take to heart.
So many people out there that just need a smile and a kind word to get them through the day.
When my Mom was in a nursing home, I remember one friend who would come once a week and bring dozens of cookies to pass out to the residents.
Even a phone call to a Senior that doesn't get out much.
I have a friend who doesn't drive and she has my number on speed dial.. :D
Nice Post Michael,
I just wanted to jump in here and say I enjoy reading your blog.

that's funny- your pastor likes blondes too.
and the words about friends is true. the best friends are the ones that stick around, even years later after you've both changed.
A very good picture!!!
Green tea: lol! It's important to surround ourselves with people who truly believe in our dreams, our potential and who love us unconditionally! :)

Glenn: Thanks so much! :D)
Seraphine: lol! Actually, (in what should come as no surprise) I embellished with the photo of the girl. Otherwise, very true. :D)
Captain: It's the least I could do, given the number of great looking women on the USS Enterprise! :D)
Excellent sentiment.
PM: I like the journey --about those who didn't make it to our future--a lot. See you soon! :)
Interesting though, but I have recently found that time does heal many wounds. The crazy thing is my going on Facebook and connecting with friends of long ago has shown me that *most* of the important stuff of high school and college wasn't so important in the grand scheme of things. I know you enjoy blogging, but you really should check out FB. I will continue to blog, but I have found a great amount of enjoyment on FB and I now see what so many people were raving about.
as they say, michael, an unembellished life is not worth living.
DJ DAVY: Time is such a huge concern for me on FB at this time. But thanks for the visit, as always...much appreciated. Have a great weekend!:)
Seraphine: I agree. I also think that there are many, many good people out there who are able to Love, and Trust who are stable and so fascinating! lol! :D)
