Yesterday morning over coffee, I sifted through a book I had written in the late 1990's. I've been revising it and it's hard work. It's very hard. But I leafed through it and carefully selected fragments I felt were appropriate to help me segue on this BLOG Page from writing about the end of a lovely person's life, to moving forward with dignity and grace. That effort became this post. It isn't anything great. But it was simply the best I could do.

Nice photos, Michael. Was this book published and is it still available?
Nice pictures Michael,
Thanks for reminding me that at times I should stop and smell the flowers and watch the sun set.
Have a great day!

Sage: No it isn't. But I hope to have it back in shape by the end of 2009.
Glenn: Funny you should mention that! A friend of mine knows a businessman who handed out business cards that said "Don't Remember to Stop and Smell the Roses". He stopped by the guys house and his entire backyard was filled with rose bushes! A true story, by the way!
Thanks, Glenn!!:D)
of course you write poetry!
and don't apologize for 'the best i could do.' it's perfect because you made it, coffee spills and all.
and i love the pic of you in the doorway. it looks almost like a newspaper clipping.
Seraphine: lol! Healing (((HUGS))) flowing out to you! :-)
So lovely...the sun makes me smile.
English Student: Thanks. I need to get you back on the Blogroll. lol! :D)
