A WORD FROM GODFATHER VITO!

"We'll get there, Pop. We'll get there".
---Al Pacino as Michael Corleone

-

Looking through my journal, I see that one year ago today I was in Los Angeles. So, I decided. What better time than now to bring out Godfather Vito with a familiar message we can all nod over with a slice of pizza, right?

Seriously, I've managed to catch up with most of you by borrowing computers from friends to remain somewhat connected until my laptop emerges from the waranty repair shop. If I've missed anyone, hang tight. In the meantime, to all my PAISANS:

Happy Labor Day!

dearest Michael,

the Godfather rocks. the second one too. the kind of movie you can switch on regardless of which point, and get into it.
and of course the best pizza in the world is in NYC. IM a lucky girl. :) ive had a good bagel or two in the carolinas, but never a Penn station Slice!

feel good!
your friend,
dari

Oh The Godfather is one of my all-time favorites. I enjoy it in book and movie form each!

i feel challenged b/c i didn't like godfather. i couldn't wrap myself in it. i must be the only one, b/c everybody else seems to like it. everyone adores it, reveres it, loves it.
shrugs.
but too, it's 10 or 20 years since i tried to watch it. maybe i should try again.

We don't celebrate Labor Day here in the UK, but I hope it's been a good day for you.

Regarding another matter, do you have any contacts on KAKE TV? I need to contact one of their former presenters Theresa Freed regarding the BTK serial murder case as I am researching it and writing about it, along with some other case studies involving a Cambridge psychic. If you can help me, or know someone at KAKE who can, I would be so grateful. My email is ellee.seymour@btopenworld.com

Lisa B: lol! I worked but no regrets.

Dari: The acting was well done. I just couldn't handle the violence. lol!:)

Evening, Patti: You love the Godfather! :D) lol! You're killin' me Patti! :D))!!!!

Seraphine: I can relate. There are snippets like this one that are fun to impersonate. But the violence just rattles me and I can't handle it. So, I totally understand. lol! :D

Sage: I should have it back this week. Yes, I did a sweep one night to respond to all the great bloggers who stop by. I'm very heartened and will get back to you and everyone! :)

Ellee: No contacts at KAKE. But that was a very, very lengthy investigation by the journalist who broke that story--extremely long. A tragic case, indeed!

Walker: I've had to adjust my blogging schedule even before the computer blew up. But it is frustrating not being able to stay in touch when you have it in the shop. No "OPA!" there!!!! :)

jean-luc-picard: I hereby dedicate it to Ensign Britney along with any of those strange people who challenge your patience on the USS Enterprise. I will be by ASAP! :)

Jessica: It's fun to watch Brando in a role that transformed his acting and financial status into the stratosphere. But the stark violence leaves me chilled. I have not been able to watch I or II. Only III because some of the acting was fodder for my impressions. :D)
