DAMAGE CONTROL!
Back in the day...It's never fun when your computer hard drive crashes. But wait! The Good News is that my computer is under Warranty and I will be back here soon! Meantime, "a wink and a nod" to all who have visited. I regret not being able to respond. But I look forward to catching up with you as soon as possible. I know I'm forgetting something. Oh, yeah...

"Friday Movie Suggestion Night" will arrive a day late as well. But we have a cool flick ready to serve up!
:D)
Best!
Michael

Ooohhh Nooooo!
My computer crashes sometimes. But you get that sometimes when you've been drinking...
I just hate when that happens..
waiting patiently..*smile*
Thats me above Michael..GiGi
Wink and a nod back and i'm glad you got your computer fixed - UNDER WARRANTY! :)
I hope your computer gets well soon.
Rock concert, huh? I'm holding you to that when I (someday maybe) am freed up from this &&*)*& oxygen tank. I'm thinking Chere's 67th last tour, maybe. Hubby said it's fine with him. He doesn't care for Cher.
Go Geeks!! :-)

And that's why i have four laptops and two desk tops ;)
I hope you didn't loose many files and you had a backup.
I lost everything once and still have a little squares indented on my forehead from the keyboard for not having a backup.
D-Man: In this case, my thanks to Bill Gates for endless Windows "updates" which I have since ordered turned off. Bill sleeps quite comfortably at night, I'm sure. ;0
j: Yeah, there's no alternative. I may extend the warranty in January since the laptops generate more heat. :)
Green Tea: Just when I was about to begin unraveling a mystery! :D)
Afternoon, Patti: It's still not fixed. But the 48 hour diagnosis period is passed. Quite a pain in the drain. But it could have been worse. :)
p m: As the old saying goes, "This Too Shall Pass". Come to think of it, Columbus probably said this as he sailed! :D
Cosmic: I've always liked Cher, but have always wondered why she did the plastic surgery stuff. Hang in, my friend!:D
CQ: I'm not sure. On the phone, they sounded much like the guys who steam cleaned my carpeting after the flood! ?
Walker: I don't know if it's standard, but these people (Toshiba) will not cover a backup disk. And I had to keep Vista to retain the Warranty. So, I bought a magazine that promises to detail how to "Speed Up Your Vista". That's a lot like having a V-6 and wishing it were a V-8 by removing the muffler and replacing it with a glass pack! :D)!
