AND THE SHOW GOES ON...

HELLO! What's new from here?, you ask. First off, nice of you to ask! Well, let's see... Oh, well a few notes (no pun). I've started working with my new guitar teacher. Yeah, remember I was on a waiting list? Well, it opened up. We've started working together on Sundays now in Mesa, Arizona. The weather is still in the triple-digits. Let's see, what else?...Ah! I proofed my next major magazine interview layout and that's coming up soon. Sorry, I can't spill the beans on this one (as usual) because as the competition (if you could call them that) reads here as well. Oh, you better believe they do! But I must say, we have far better articles and our photo layout (again) is dazzling, if I may be immodest! That is due, of course to our fine Editorial Crew over at Airways magazine.
-
Oh yeah, while I'm on the subject of fine crews, I must acknowledge the Flight Crew over at British Airways who stay in touch with Gunner Gillespie. Allow me to say unashamedly: "Love back to all of you guys across the pond"!
-
Next week, I will begin reaching out to a few local business leaders for input on a fund raiser for both Trevor Tredaway and Gunner Gillespie. Trust me. If you have met and hugged and spent any amount of time (as I have) around these two special children, they just stay in your heart. The way I see it, one just never knows what can be accomplished within the community until we all pull together in the same direction. It's very early on, but I will keep you updated on whatever transpires.
_
Meantime, you certainly don't have to sponsor a fund raiser to say hello and share your love with Trevor Tredaway at: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/trevortredaway and Gunner Gillespie at: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/gunnergillespie. I know both families would enjoy a personal visit from all of you and the boys really get a thrill! A word of Love and Encouragement SO matters!!!
-
Okay, so, we'll close out this week with a nice look at The Rolling Stones from a slightly different vantage point, while I figure out ways to enthrall you next week with my Blogging. Enjoy the weekend with Peace & Love!

Michael

Hi, Michael! Good to catch up with what's going on in your little corner of the world.

I'll go visit Gunner and Trevor's sites and leave them a comment. :o)

Happy weekend!

Love and hugs,

Diane

Me again, Michael. I visited Trevor's site and left a comment, but the address for Gunner's site won't work for me. Caring Bridge says that's not a valid address on their site. Thought you might like to know....

xoxoxo

Diane: Thank you for visiting here and to Trevor's site. Gunner's site works for me. If you go to my Blogroll at the Right side of this page under "G" I have Gunner listed and that site pulls up. I'm not sure what to say? Try there. I defragged my computer and came back to find an operational mess while I practiced guitar for a couple of hours. So, I'll look into it. But again, the Blogroll for Gunner works.

xo,xo to you Diane for caring!!! :)

guitar lessons. when do you find the time to practice? because, if you take lessons, you're expected to practice too.
I'll go figure how to defragment my life now. while sleeping. night night.

Neat video Michael,

I remember seeing the Stones a long time ago on a TV show on a Sunday Evening.

It was a "really big show".

The Ed Sullivan Show.

They rocked!

I hope you have a great weekend Michael!

Hi Michael

I enjoyed listening to the YouTube clip.

Congratulations on all of the wonderful work and positive information you are creating for Trevor and Gunner.

I trust the magazine interview segment works well.

Best wishes

I am catching up. I say my prayers at night and I am praying for so many I have difficulty remembering everyone by name. Please know though that they are covered under my prayers.

I will go in tomorrow and sign their guestbooks. Thank you for posting the links.

I hope the guitar lesson go well and who knows you may be up on the charts one day.
I remember how excited I was when I saw my first wanted poster up in the ladies washroom at the police station.

Good luck with the fundraising, I knopow you could drum up the support.

Seraphine: lol! I am by nature an organizational freak. So, I literally schedule every hour after work with specific goals that currently revolve around my home program for physical therapy and then plugging into my practice amp. It works. :D

Sage: We all try and apply. Sometimes all we can do is just "be". But good to hear from you!

Glenn: I read that Ed took The Beatles to mass as he was a devout Catholic. It's hard for me to see The Boys going along when they appeared at that age to be such cut-ups! But Ed was a true presenter!

ED SULLIVAN! :)

p m: Gunner is a very determined young man and his parents are absolutely fantastic and in tune with his every need. I celebrate The Gillespies as dear friends and love them dearly. Thanks for such a kind word. :)

lindsaylobe: Many thanks! The idea is to merely "light a candle" and inform others where they can keep up with Gunner. Information is so essential!

Yes, and you mentioned the new interview. It is slated for a September 30th release in the USA and exactly 7 days later in the UK and worldwide. I just proofed it. I am very lucky to work with such a fantastic crew :)

Suzanne: lol and Thanks. This has been on my radar for a long, long time and with many interruptions along the way. But we've begun work and I am loving it!:)

Cosmic: THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORTIVENESS! It means so very much to the entire family to know they have the hears and spirits of all of us who desire a cancer-free outcome. (((HUGS)))) to You! MWAH!:)

Walker: I once blogged about the first time my parents entrusted me alone at home with the house to myself. I stood on a chair and watched the tail lights of their car disappear down the street. Then I opened the old jealously windows, carefully placed my 15 Watt practice amp with a P.A. horn (replacing the speaker) and decided an unwanted "concert" was in order. I was a bad kid, what can I tell ya? I jammed for about a half hour with power chords and the neighborhood responded! A Police car showed up with flashing lights (but no siren, quite dramatic). I immediately stopped and killed the bedroom lights. They knocked on door. I refused to answer. "We know you're in there, so answer the door!", they said. I was hunkered down. A flashlight probed the walls of my tiny bedroom. It was memorable. The next day, the father across the street gave me my first review. he said my playing resembled his washing machine on it's last legs. That's when I knew I was really onto something big!!!:D)

As for the fundraising, I'm relieved to say "Hey Toto, I don't think we're in Cincinnati anymore!" (Thank God for THAT!). ;)
