RAINBOWS FOR YOU!
Good Morning! The response to the "Over the Rainbow" performance by Eva Cassidy for "Friday Movie Suggestion Night" has been very heartening for me and it really restores my faith in humanity. Admittedly, it is a strange phenomenon to check my counter and see (as I go to press here) 1,140 "lurkers", since I first featured Eva this week! Since roughly 70% of my Bloggers listed on my Blogroll were not with me from the time that I began blogging in 2004, it would be helpful to offer this explanation. The term "lurkers" refers to people who stop by and visit a Blogsite, and for whatever reason they take leave without commenting. All of which is fine with me, because that tells me that I have, indeed, reached many more people than I could have possibly imagined! Hopefully I was reaching hearts and not just heads--as they say--with what I wrote and I am eternally grateful._
Speaking of Rainbows, my friends GUNNER GILLESPIE and TREVOR TREDAWAY are responding favorably to their cancer treatments! If you are new to my site, I've posted about Gunner, age 7 (on May 12th and June 13th), and Trevor, age 3 (on May 29th and June 21st) along with their photos. Please go back and have a look! I can report to you that these boys are blessed with the most wonderful parents you could imagine. And I have been privileged to welcome each of them and their daughters as my new friends out here in Arizona. It is just remarkable to meet them in-person and connect a face with the name. This has really made my summer so memorable already!

Have a nice weekend and thanks to each of you who have reached out with your financial support, thoughts and prayers for these families. I know first-hand how much they are sincerely moved by your Love and Tender Mercies! See ya!

D-man: A Toast to You, D-Missus and D-Girl!
jean-luc-picard: I had the pleasure years ago of e-mailing back and forth with Eva's parents and they were Delightful! It was an Honor.
Glenn: I went back and corrected the spelling of your first name on my Blogaverssary post!
Glenn: I also hit the Enter button by mistake! :D) Many thanks for your supportiveness and best regards! I encourage anyone who wants to read a Blog written with heart to stop by your site.
ooh, I love rainbows - they are just magical.....one day I'll fond that pot of gold :-)
I'm so glad the boys are doing well, isn't it criminal when children are so sick?
Hope you had a good 4th July with family and friends, Michael :-)

Lurkers are just people who tune in like they would when turning on the TV or the radio so this means you are a channel they like to tune in too :)
Great news about Gunner and Trever, I hope they keep doing well with their treatment
CQ: These boys are just Awesome to me. They have wonderful hearts and spirits that soar as high as a rainbow! I am very encouraged! :)
Walker: Yes, I agree! I personally don't lurk unless I see the person has the same page up and my Comment is already parked there! Gunner and Trevor are just amazing, yes!
Sorry I've been absentee but rainbows are always a good thing to resurface to. Thanks for stopping in still. I hope to continue to get more frequent chances to do the same!:)
janbran: Cool! It's hard to reach out to everyone, but I DO try to read every Blogger at least once a month when my plate isn't so full. Others are very busy too, I know. Life!!! :D
Thanks for the note and have a terrific week!!!
That's great news to hear that both boys are getting better!
Becky: And with great courage and senses of humor. Precious!
