A DREAM THAT CAME TRUE!
As my late cousin wrote to me in a note after she attended my college graduation Cap & Gown Ceremony in 1999: "Clearly, it is never too late". This story really drives home that point.
I will be visiting you this weekend. Enjoy the inspiration and the music, for they go hand-in-hand!

Brian Wilson is amazing.
It's never to late for anything if you really want it.
Thanks for that. It made me smile.
My parents had Good Vibrations on vinyl when I was a child and I used to love dancing to it. Pet sounds is such a classic and Brian Wilson is undoubtedly a genius.
A great story of human endeavour. Thanks for posting about it.
it's never too late.
it's always too late.
coming and going.

keep us going.
Walker: I agree!
D-Man: I'm on my way over to see what you have up today! :)
Bob-Kat: Brian had to push on through so much more than I blogged about--all of which is well documented. That he is alive is a miracle. I'm thrilled that he found peace, love, happiness and that he is touring! I've got to catch this guy in concert!
Seraphine: Yes, reminds me of Brian's song "Love and Mercy"!:)
Thank you, Michael. I needed that reminder that it really never is too late for anything if you want it enough.
It's Never Too Late, of course, is my mantra.
fleur de lisa: How true! You are such a creative spirit, my friend and I have admired how you make things happen! :)
Bud: While health and work issues have eaten into my rehearsal time, I am tenacious as a bulldog thanks to your helpful suggestions and just last night, I re-strung the Tak with light gauge D-Addarios. Many Thanks fot your encouragement!
I am just now catchin up with you. I have a question. I was in Salem, NH around 1979-80 and was invited to the home of a friend of my ex-husband. He was tall and thin and very blonde. I was told he was one of the original Beach Boys and I can't for the life of me remember who he was. I think it was because one of my favorite singers at the time, Sonny James was there visiting too. Would you know who's home I was in? As I said, it was in Salem NH and it was gorgeous.
Cosmic: That's so hard to say. Thin and tall would be singer Mike Love, cousin to the Wilson's Dennis, Brian and Carl. David Marks was a member for a brief time. But the best guess would be Mike Love. :)
