TIM RUSSERT 1950-2008
My profound thoughts and prayers are with Tim Russert's family at this very difficult time. This is such a blow to the broadcasting industry. A man struck down in his prime who had the Integrity to redefine the word "Dialogue" without partisan considerations. He is already missed. God Bless him.

He was young to.
Its one of those fasmiliar faces you see on the news and trust.
He will be missed by many
He definitely was one of a kind and someone you would love to know as a person, not just a journalist or political aficionado.
I have picked up one of his books already for my husband as a gift.
I cannot imagine this election without his intelligent and fair interviews. He will very much be missed.
Walker: I completely agree with you. Shocking! He was completely fascinated with politics and yet he refused to cave into partisan support and bickering. A fine man!
Snoopmurph: Tom Brokaw said that he was "burning it at both ends" with his tremendous appetite for work. He knew that he had a heart condition and was trying to lose weight.
I knew he was very devout in his faith, and that he wrote so poignantly about his Dad and all of the values he has carried on to raise his son Luke. It is my understanding that Tim came from humble beginnings, put himself through Law school, then entered broadcasting. I'm so sorry his Dad had to see this. It has been hell enough for me to lose my own father. I can't possibly imagine Mr. Russert losing Tim. May God Bless him.
I am going to miss him so much during this election year..
It is hard to find a non partisan
news person anymore...maybe Brian Williams..but thats about it..
Green Tea: According to my Internist, Tim had extensive medical problems that were not properly addressed, and his death is a wake-up call for all of us to get fit and stay healthy. He was a good guy, and I quite agree with you about his wonderful non-partisan quality. He pursued politics tenaciously. God Bless him.
