i love kids! they are so much fun and very very honest ;)
Ah! Blissfully innocent!
Very cool Michael! Thanks for sharing. When I worked for the Forest Lake Times the letters kids wrote to Santa came to me. It was one of my favorite assignments, going to through the letters and choosing which to publish. Some of the letters break your heart, others lift it up.
The hometown paper had letters to Santa published in it this week. Cracks me up!
Aren't kids just something else???
Some of those make you smile and some break your heart.
Is it me, or do some of those requests sound more like prayers, and that they confuse Santa with God?
Tanyetta: I love kids too! Probably because I will always keep the inner child in me alive!
Seamus: That's so true, my friend!
Jessica: What a wonderful assignment! I'm sure you can appreciate that I tried to pick a good sampling here!
Katie: What I love most about Christmas are the expressions of kids faces in the malls waiting to see Santa, then the outdoor Christmas lights!
Patti: OMG Yes! Just look at how many cute stories Maddie has been responsible forand she has given us all a chuckle--such a cutie!
p m prescott: No, with all due respect, I personally don't feel that way. Look at the ages. These are mere children who are making general references to Santa and it just doesn't go further.
Hi Michael. Kids are SO cool......
I have photos of 'The Swan' on my blog now.....
cq
how cute!
My Wee One is so much FUN this XMAS.
HE told me to tell Santa that it was his daddy who says bad words not himself.....
AWWW !! Those are soo cute! Children see things for what they really are don't they. Nothing is lost in translation. Happy Holidays my friend!!
Kids and Santa are a wonderful combination :-)
CQ: Cool! I'll drop by! :)
Barngoddess: Oh, he is so cute (and smart)!
Renae: Happy Holidays to to you too!
Lisa B: They are inseparable. Wait until you see what movie I've selected this week to make that point! :D))
I'm really laughing at the girl that wants a new hot neighbor boy!
fleur de lisa: ME TOO! :D))!!! I think she has someone in mind that she's holding "close to the vest"! KIDS ROCK!
I hated finding out that Santa was not for real, let's keep the dream alive for as long as possible.
Ellee: A friend of mine raising a young son had this conversation in the car. KID: "Dad, Is Santa real?"
FATHER: "Why do you ask?" KID: "Bobby in school said he's not real." FATHER: What'd you tell him?" KID: "I told him he was nuts". FATHER: "Well, there's your answer" (nice dodge,eh?)!
I love the Christmas letters to Santa! The way they put things was so worth posting this!:)
Janet: Especially the kid wishing for a hot 6th grader! :D)) Kids just ROCK!
