pan am, twa, eastern ...... relics of the past......oh to have them back
distributorcap: This industry is so brutal and unforgiving, I'm afraid those days are over. Pan Am's celebration in Miami today has taken up two huge hotels with festivities!
I hope they get cake ;-)

Lisa: I heard it was a total success! The bus trip to Key West--where Pan Am's first ticket office is now a themed restaurant (formerly owned by actress Kelly McGuiness) was packed as were two hotels and historic Dinner Key. I was told that I was missed! :)
Patti_Cake: Juan Trippe's sons were present. I missed many friends and a fantastic event. There will never be another airline with the Class of Pan Am.
