WE HAVE THE BUS AND WE'RE READY TO ROCK!

This is the "SAHARA EXPRESS" Coach" we are using!
_____
At Noon today, the owner of Lakefront Bus Lines--the largest Touring Coach operator in Ohio offered to provide us a Luxury Coach and a driver at a 10% discount. With time running out, I slapped the expense of the bus on one of my Credit Cards and so the deal is done. I really have no idea how I'm going to pay that bill. But I am a man of Faith and I've been around long enough to know this: "We live but once". There were several factors that drove me to make this decision. Time is running out on this concert. Tickets are selling fast and I can assure you it WILL be "SOLD OUT"; the rooms at the Drury Inn will be "SOLD OUT" and God-Willing, I intend to fill our brand new Tour Bus with 56 passengers. I moved rapidly to secure the bus because there was---literally---no time to beg or plead for someone to write a check or hand over a wad of cash. I'll address that later on my own. Here are the details of what is next for those of you who are willing to join me in the commitment to support Sahara, her Mother Amy and Father Shannon:
___
THE BUS: will leave downtown Cincinnati from the newly renovated Fountain Square at 9:00 A.M. on December 7th for the 7-hour road trip to Cape Giradeau, Missouri. I have put in a call to Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory and I've filed the necessary request forms for Mayor Mallory to consider making an appearance to greet all of us and see us off the morning of our departure. Mayor Mallory is very busy, but I am certain he will join us if his schedule allows. You'll need to rush and purchase a ticket to the show by telephoning Ticketmaster Outlets to Charge-By-Phone at (573) 651-5000. Ticket prices are $25 and $35. OUR BUS: is a deluxe MCI motor coach that joined the Lakefront fleet in November, 2005. Lakefront is the largest privately owned bus company in the State of Ohio and they pride themselves with the newest fleet of vehicles. Our Coach holds 56 passengers; has larger windows for viewing, DVD and VCR players with monitors, CD players, a restroom, and reclining seats to make our journey fun and comfortable. Lakefront carries $10,000,000.00 of insurance for your protection. They have recently been awarded the highest Honors by both The U.S. Department of Transportation and The U.S. Department of Defense.

_____
THE CONCERT: 7:30 P.M. December 8th at the Show Me Center located at S.E. Missouri State University, 1333 N. Sprigg Street, Cape Giradeau. MO. 63701-6999. I will be handing over The Proclamation of "Sahara Aldridge Day" in Cincinnati from Mayor Mark Mallory to The Aldridge Family the day of the performance. Sahara's mother Amy has been in touch with me and she was so gracious with her Love and sends her sincere appreciation to all of you who have been holding up Sahara with your thoughts and prayers.
_____
The remainder of today will be spent working very diligently with The News Media and once I have their commitment, I will be sharing their logos, providing credits and conveying of course their love to all of you.
___
One note: Those of you boarding the Tour Bus with me, You will need to e-mail me with your verified Ticket and Hotel information and telephone number. If you are outside the Cincinnati area, remember to include your Area Code. There are 55 seats available and when they are gone. That's it. This concert is selling quickly so please. If you are thinking about committing, "Now is the hour", truly! Again it's: michaelmanninginfo@GMail.com.

I agree with discom, I to am a little saddened by the fact that I can't be there( living way up here in Can.). I to will be there in spirit, for sure!! Sounds like things are coming together nicely. This is a wonderful thing that is being done. With Faith, you move ahead, God is on your side. All things are possible, and anything that is left out, or make you panic, the Lord has already taken care of everything. You have angels guidance, who go ahead of you and prep. the path for the right people to come along. God has details already finished...some of it you just don't know about yet. Surprises?...yup, they will come, even at the concert. You will see when all is said and done that there is always more good to come. Good luck, and God Bless!!!

Hey, Renae!: I'm overwhelmed by your sweet note of supportiveness. Yes! God's still very much in business. I didn't do this alone and we still have more work to do. Now we shift our focus locally to getting Sahara's story told! She needs us to "PULL" for her. I challenge anyone who has doubts to scroll down and look at Sahara's photo. If that doesn't melt a person's heart nothing will. Rick said it best. We need this sweet little girl in our sometimes dreary world! lol! I haven;t had lunch yet so I'm signing off for a break down the street where a yummy Salad has my name on it :)!

Michael,

Wow! This is so wonderful! God puts people where they need to be and obviously He felt you were needed to help us with this task. Thank you so much for devoting your time, talent, and sweat to help Sahara. So many of us in the Rickworld are involved and praying for this special little girl. The more...the merrier!

Becky: (((HUGS))) to you!

Ally: See you soon! And back atcha!!:)

donnat: You get it. That is EXACTLY what took place. Irregardless of what was or wasn't happening with my professional initiatives, I too share your view that I was tapped to do something even more meaningful. And at the end of the day, I much prefer this kind of initiative. And you are quite right. I'm not doing this alone. I'm not a celebrity and I have no clout to speak of. Maybe for now, that is just as well. Looking ahead, my immediate focus is to properly promote what we are doing and to bring that "Positive Vibe" that Rick Springfield talks about on his website. Quite an amazing man! We have 55 seats now to fill and sooner is better! Hope to meet you and the Street Team at the event! lol, donnat! :)

Believe me Michael, if your bus was leaving from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area I'd be on it. I saw Sahara at Rick's concert in Houston in Early October. As great as that show was, I know this one will top it! You'll have a wonderful time. And what more worthwhile cause can there be, than a sweetie like Sahara!

God bless!!

Kelly: We still need your prayers, meditations, positive thoughts transmitted, fingers crossed or however you care to communicate your LUV!

Sue: Ah, Houston. Did my acting training there along the 610 Beltway. A great city! Glad you saw Rick and Sahara. Please keep this project in your prayers and thoughts. We've still got some more work ahead of us. lol!!!!

Valderbar: You are absolutely right. The bus is booked. I have seen it and it is awesome. Once we begin to get some television and newspapers to lead this effort, that bus will fill up.

slapme happy!: lol to you, my dear! I appreciate your kind message because we still have quite a bit of work to do. The focus is really Sahara and I hope she is excited that 56 new friends care and are pulling for her in addition to all of you here. Lurkers and all!!!!
