A LAVA LAMP!

Elizabeth Hurley!
___
Well, as of last week, I became an official Lava Lamp owner! Earth shattering, isn't it? I picked up a 70's model with Green Colored Wax. Not that this makes me cool or interesting, but if I ever have a date with Elizabeth Hurley, I may turn it on to "spark" some conversation. Not that any "spark" is needed. That's my BLOG for today! I didn't want to over-tax myself. All the search work has been completed here in Tampa/Orlando. The lengths I went to would make Lance Armstrong proud. I look forward to seeing if I can get together with Bud Buckley ASAP. He's about 120 miles South of here. Hope your weekend is a nice one!

I still have mine from the 70s. I wanted one because my cousin Kim had one and she turned it one when we listened to the Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band LP. So cool!
i must say there's a striking resemblance between the two :))
ahhh... Lava Lamps. My 12 year old daughter wants one. Apparently what we had as kids is now called "Retro" and is considered cool again...
Teresa: How cool! Did you know they run $100 and up now? I snapped one up for $19! Sgt. Pepper is a great CD!
Karma: Yes, that and Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon".
Lisa: Hit the Antique Malls/Markets. Might make a nice birthday gift. Or even a non-BD surprise!
I already got my own "Elizabeth Hurley", what I really could use is a Lava Lamp :-)
I still have my original lava lamp too. My mother offered to send it to me in NY but I graciously declined ;-)
THOMAS: Have I got a deal for you! JUst $100 (US). While it lasts!!!
LisaBinDaCity: How funny! If you want to trade, mine is Green "Lava"!!! :) lol!!!!
Very very cool, Michael!
I could've saved you some money. Wint-o-Green LifeSavers spark when you bite them in the dark. AND they freshen your breath. That's a multitasker you want around when Elizabeth Hurley is in the dark with you.
Wondy Woman: I'll toast you whenever I unpack it in my new home with a drink! "TO WONDY WOMAN!!!" lol! :)
GW: I'll switch IMMEDIATELY! Maybe that wil expedite Elizabeth flying over...wait! Didn't she just get married? Press on anyway. YES, I'll switch IMMEDIATELY!! Damn, the torpedos!
Mercy: The older ones like mine (bought at an Antique Shop) has green wax that gets all gooey and twisted like a pretzle dough machine. But I am sure she'll love hers!
